Responsibilities
Open to the general public and any current Municipal employee
This position is represented by the Anchorage Municipal Employee Association (AMEA) and is subject to the provisions of the current agreement between the Municipality of Anchorage and the Union
HOURS OF WORK: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00
Remote work schedule opportunities (telecommuting) may be considered after successful completion of probation, at the discretion of management and with the approval of the department head
Not all positions are eligible for remote work (telecommuting) per PandP 40-40

Qualification
Required
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent and six years of professional accounting, payroll, or similar work experience
Associates degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, Finance or similar discipline and four years of professional accounting, payroll, or similar work experience
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, Finance or similar discipline and two years of professional accounting, payroll, or similar work experience
Must possess and/or obtain satisfactory background check which includes criminal, education, and employment history at time of hire
