Litigation Administrative Assistant
Nelson Mullins is seeking an experienced Litigation Administrative Assistant to join our Litigation Team in the Atlanta office. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively within a dynamic team, providing a wide range of secretarial, administrative, and clerical support in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
Maintain organized electronic and paper files
Draft and format correspondence and legal documents
Ensure accuracy through careful editing and proofreading
Manage e-filing
Track discovery documents
Handle a high volume of files and client relationships
Filing pleadings electronically in court systems
Downloading and uploading documents
Managing incoming mail and document productions
Answer calls and emails
Schedule meetings and depositions
Assist with trial preparation
Support client billing
Monitor accounts receivable
Maintain attorney calendars
Process expenses
Perform initial conflicts checks
Open and close client matters
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in civil defense litigation
Advanced skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong professional attributes in analytical thinking, multi-tasking, and problem-solving
Familiarity with legal billing guidelines and collections
Demonstrated initiative and self-direction
Attention to detail
Organizational skills
Strong work ethic
Ability to work under time-intensive deadlines
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong spelling and grammar
Preferred
Experience with Dropbox, OneDrive, Imanage and/or Filesite a significant plus
