Strategic Key Account Manager - Utilities

The Strategic Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing strategic utility accounts, driving business development, and achieving sales targets while enhancing brand recognition and market presence.

Responsibilities
Reponsible for annually set sales targets and milestone completion for BESS sales, and strategic utility account development
Initiates the sales process, providing preliminary and ongoing information to existing clients
Manages the sales process by promptly responding to all inquiries and visits with clients as necessary to present information regarding Sungrow solutions and services
Plans key account strategy and tactical approach and manages own resources to achieve the sales plan within budgetary guidelines
Prioritizes work assignments and follow-up responses to customer inquiries and proposals
Manages the relationships with customers, identifying growth opportunities within the assigned accounts, and develops the approach to secure new business
Drive all customer commercial activities, including proposal preparation, pricing, and contract negotiation
Establish relationships with key decision-makers and align the Sungrow team with the appropriate level of contact within the customer organization
Communicate customer requirements to the product development team to support future product planning
Monitor competitive environment
Represent the company at trade shows and industry events
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years' direct sales and marketing experience in the Energy Storage or equivalent renewable business
Solid understanding of the core technology and its benefits, and identification of its unique selling points
Strong negotiation and commercial skills
Has existing contact with active players (developer, utility) in the market
Pro-active self-starter, excellent negotiator, results oriented and driven sales professional
Technical problem solving/analytical skills
Self-starter, strong initiatives and an excellent communicator
System and product level mindset
Organization, detailed-oriented nature and strong initiative
Preferred
MBA is preferred
Energy Storage system-related experience is desired
