Responsibilities

Oversees and coordinates MTF patient referrals
Ensures the accuracy and consistency of patient information within various healthcare systems
Collaborates closely with various medical professionals and patients throughout the referral process
Analyzes referral data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement
Prepares reports on referral data to inform healthcare management officials on optimizing referral processes
Tracks all consult updates or status changes according to the referral authorization process policies

Required

One year of specialized experience which includes (1) coordinating care within health care systems; (2) ensuring accuracy of patient information within data systems; AND (3) compiling medical information for appointment consultations
Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree with a major study in hospital administration, public health administration, or related fields such as business or public administration with course work in health care administration
A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation
This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment
Lifting up to 20 pounds may be required
You must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below
Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application
Education must be accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in order for it to be credited towards qualifications
Male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration
You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship
One year trial/probationary period may be required
Direct Deposit of Pay is required
Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees
