Responsibilities

Acts as receptionist; greets individuals; answers telephone; provides information; forwards calls to appropriate party; assists the public with the completion of standardized records or documents; directs individuals to appropriate party
Provides assistance to staff with formatting documents and other document preparation tasks, manages mailings and prepares routine reports based on templates and verbal directions. Checks items for clerical accuracy and spelling and basic mathematical accuracy
Pulls documentation for Clinic’s medical staff
Copies and collates documents as needed
Assists, supports and provides safety precautions to clients
Responds to requests for information on agency services; assists staff with routine communication to clients and other agencies
Maintains a logical, organized, central filing system of documents and reports and assists staff in locating documents and reports
Assists Clinic staff with specific tasks as needed
Makes appointments for individuals to receive services, as needed
Operates a variety of standard office equipment; performs light maintenance on photocopy and postage equipment

Required

Intermediate administrative support work experience
Ability to answer telephones and greet individuals
