Information Technology Financial Analyst
IntePros is seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Financial Analyst to manage financial operations, forecasting, and strategic vendor relationships across their IT organization. This role involves partnering closely with IT leadership to drive financial transparency and optimize spending while providing budgeting and financial consulting support.
Responsibilities
Manage the financial relationship with key strategic IT vendors, including SOW review, contract compliance, account reconciliation, and spend tracking
Monitor and report on Program Accounting initiatives, including project financial reviews
Maintain and enhance IT financial processes across the project lifecycle; support training for project managers
Serve as a trusted financial advisor to IT and business leaders, helping interpret financial results, metrics, and performance indicators
Provide budgeting, forecasting, and financial consulting support to assigned shared service organizations
Prepare monthly accruals and expense reclassifications
Audit project charge codes in Clarity to ensure adherence to accounting standards
Maintain forecasts for operating expenses and capital expenditures
Support annual budgeting and ongoing forecast processes, including continuous improvement initiatives
Assist with capital planning through financial modeling, business case validation, and analytical research
Analyze financial results, trends, and cost drivers; identify risks and opportunities
Report monthly actuals versus budget and forecast; investigate and explain variances
Support monthly management reviews and leadership decision-making through clear, actionable analysis
Mentor and support junior IT Financial Analysts
Recommend and implement process improvements
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience); Finance or Accounting degree preferred
8+ years of FP&A experience in a large corporate environment
Experience supporting IT organizations strongly preferred
Proven experience with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, financial modeling, and analysis
Experience developing and leading FP&A processes
Advanced knowledge of accounting principles
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with financial systems required; SAP experience a plus
Ability to partner effectively with senior leaders in a cross-functional environment
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
High ethical standards and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Comfortable working in a flexible, fast-paced environment
Preferred
Knowledge of database applications in a business environment
Understanding of project management concepts
