The intern will be involved in sales support, operations service requests, and various industry-related projects while gaining exposure to the insurance sector.

Responsibilities

Respond to FirstChoice members inquiries with service requests
Retrieve and update policy information, endorsements, billing details, and other documentation within internal systems
Review and verify data for accuracy, including commission details, and report discrepancies to the appropriate team
Provide support to placement and client service teams as needed
Stay up to date with industry regulations to ensure all interactions and processes adhere to industry requirements and FirstChoice standard operating procedures
Serve as liaison to collaborate with other departments of the organization
Assist with other projects and tasks as assigned

Required

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in insurance, risk management, business administration, general business, sales, marketing, communications or similar program
Experience in a customer service role
Proficient with technology including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access or similar database
Experience with Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems
