Responsibilities

Provide a tailored approach that includes high-quality, job-embedded professional development focusing on evidence-based instruction aligned with the science of reading
Guide school embedded literacy coaches and educators in making data-based decisions to improve instruction and meet the needs of each child
Provide professional learning opportunities that focus on direct, explicit, systematic, engaging instruction that meets the needs of all learners
Implement full coaching cycles with participants that include identifying needs, planning lessons, modeling instruction, observing instruction, reflection, and feedback

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
At least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired

Preferred

Master's Degree in ELA or Reading Specialist Certificate or training in Letrs / research-based reading instruction
Experience in Teaching and Literacy Coaching
Experience in Reading Instruction
