They are seeking a Field Applications Engineer to support their North American Sales team in the Western US region, assisting customers in optimizing product implementation and performance.

Responsibilities

Help other engineers achieve maximum performance and benefit from our products
Act as the technical lead in the sales organization within the region
Provide guidance to customers for choosing the right products and optimizing implementation
Perform detailed bench work to breadboard and test solutions for customers

Qualification

AC-DC Power Conversion designMagnetics designSales engineering experienceEMISafety standardsAnalytical skillsLaboratory skillsCommunication skills

Required

BSEE or equivalent; MSEE or equivalent preferred
Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a sales engineering role
AC-DC Power Conversion design experience
Demonstrated magnetics design experience
Working knowledge of EMI and Safety standards
Willingness to travel up to 40% within region for on-site customer support

Preferred

Experience in one of the following end markets: UPS, Solid State Lighting, Metering, Appliances, Cell Phone chargers, Industrial controls, Notebook or PC Power Supplies
Prior experience as an FAE for semiconductor products used in power conversion applications
