They are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support attorneys and paralegals in managing first party property insurance cases, ensuring effective client communication and case management.

Responsibilities
Assist attorneys and paralegals in managing Texas first party property insurance cases from intake through resolution
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, including Spanish-speaking clients, providing case updates and support
Draft and review legal correspondence, pre-suit documents, and routine pleadings as directed
Organize and maintain electronic case files and client correspondence
Assist with intake, including collecting and organizing client documents and claim-related materials
Communicate with insurance companies, adjusters, experts, and other third parties
Schedule appointments, inspections, and deadlines; manage calendars as needed
Answer incoming calls and route communications appropriately
Provide general administrative and case support to ensure efficient workflow and compliance with deadlines
Qualification
Required
Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a legal assistant or case manager, preferably in first party property or insurance litigation
Fluent in Spanish (spoken and written) – required
High school diploma required
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Professional, compassionate, and client-focused demeanor with a commitment to confidentiality
Preferred
associate or bachelor's degree preferred
