American Gas Association is seeking an intern to join its Energy Markets, Analysis, and Standards (EMAS) team. The role involves supporting economics work efforts, collaborating with staff, and working on projects related to natural gas and energy delivery.

Responsibilities

Support its economics work efforts in various topics including economic fundamentals, modeling, regulatory analysis, and the creation of tools to bolster EMAS’ analytical efforts

Work collaboratively with AGA staff while creating educational documents

Collecting data to be used in analytical tools

Performing research projects

Reviewing, editing, and analyzing data using large datasets

Work on projects that quantify the public value of natural gas

Determine the most cost-effective means to deliver energy to homes and businesses across the US
