Graduate Intern Summer 2026 - Section Partnerships

The United States Tennis Association (USTA) is the national governing body for the sport of tennis and is focused on promoting its growth across the United States. They are seeking a graduate intern to support the Section Partnership team by serving as an internal consultant, collaborating with stakeholders, and analyzing data to help achieve Section-specific goals.

Responsibilities

Serve as an internal consultant for USTA Sections
Support ongoing client projects
Collaborate with key stakeholders across USTA Sections
Help develop best practices for the Section Partnerships department
Analyze key data to learn about our strategy and operations
Work closely with USTA staff to provide insights and recommendations that help further our mission to grow the game of tennis

Required

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication abilities and an understanding of collaboration within a decentralized organizational structure
Comfortable and confident presenting to senior-level audiences
Experienced with BI tools and capable of analyzing complex datasets to extract key insights
Intellectually curious with high standards for personal and organizational performance
Strong qualitative and quantitative analysis skills, with the ability to diplomatically identify and articulate challenges and opportunities

Preferred

Management consulting experience is highly desired
Familiarity with Agile development methodology in analytics or business intelligence applications
Experience within the tennis industry, sports teams/leagues/NGBs, or grassroots advocacy organizations is preferred but not required
