TS Technician I -Grind

Responsibilities
Knowledge of product specifications and general operations
Possess knowledge of food safety and sanitation polices
Monitor product and confidently uphold product quality
Train personnel to identify between acceptable product and product that does not meet Cargill’s quality standard
Instruct and support line employees on job performance
Communicate with leads, supervisors, and managers on the production floor
Provide support for the area superintendent
Qualification
Required
Must be able to taste samples of finished product to make sure it meets customer specifications and document any findings
Must have the ability to train and coach employees on product specifications and quality
The ability to recognize a problem and demonstrate good decision-making skills
Must be able to speak, read, & write in English
Must have Microsoft Excel skills
Able to lift 40 lbs
Internal candidates only: Good Attendance /Safety record requirements are as follows: 4 points or less on attendance and no written warnings on safety
Must have the ability to perform the above job requirements for both frozen and fresh ground beef processes
Must be available to work weekends and extended hours – until production shift is completed
Must be able to cover between shifts upon business needs/Supervisor request with up to less than 24 hour notice
