Responsibilities
Includes the modeling of the piping systems using Bentley AutoPipe to verify piping flexibility, stability and qualification of equipment nozzle loads
Stress review of isometrics based on span tables
Checking of work done by others
Work closely with layout personnel and pipe support engineers to deliver a quality and cost-effective design
Coordinate With Other Engineering Disciplines And Vendors As Required
May include certain lead responsibilities
Qualification
Required
US citizenship required
AA/AS or Certificate in Engineering/CAD with 7-8 years of experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience
Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check which includes verification of employment and education
Knowledgeable of ASME B31.3 and/or B31.1 other relevant industry piping codes and standards
Preferred
Prior experience using a computer pipe stress analysis program (AutoPipe preferred)
