Responsibilities

Plan, execute, and oversee the commissioning of mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards
Perform testing, troubleshooting, and validation of mechanical equipment and systems
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to meet project milestones and deadlines
Prepare and maintain commissioning documentation, including reports, checklists, and schedules
Ensure systems are fully operational and meet performance requirements before handover
Identify and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize project delays
Adhere to safety protocols and promote a culture of safety on-site

Required

3+ years of experience as a Commissioning Engineer with a focus in mechanical
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, and industrial equipment
Proven ability to manage commissioning processes from planning to completion
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ASME, ANSI)
Must be able to work nights on-site in Huntsville, AL
Must be able to work rotating shifts

Preferred

Experience working in the construction of hyperscale datacenters is a huge plus
Experience with commissioning software or tools (e.g., CxAlloy, BIM 360)
Knowledge of control systems and integration with mechanical equipment
