Responsibilities

Generate and manage Requests for Quotes (RFQs) to vendors, ensuring accuracy and compliance with bill of material requirements
Analyze vendor quotations for pricing, lead times, terms, and sustainability standards
Negotiate with vendors to secure the best prices, delivery schedules, and terms
Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Construction, and Finance teams to keep projects on track
Track purchase orders and deliveries, proactively resolving any issues with vendors
Maintain and update vendor databases, including performance scores and certifications
Contribute to procurement improvement projects and innovative process development
Support project closeout by collecting test reports, warranties, and manuals from vendors
Participate in audits and help develop standard procedures for the team

Required

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
Previous procurement experience with large infrastructure projects
Strong analytical, negotiating, and communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and database management

Preferred

Experience in the utility or industrial sector is a plus
Knowledge of electrical equipment is a bonus
Certified Purchasing Manager (ISM) or Certified Professional in Supply Management preferred
