Responsibilities

Function as an Environmental Control Systems (ECS) engineer on AMMM line of business platforms, including C-130 and C-5
Troubleshooting, production and sustainment support, and operational improvement of aircraft Air Conditioning, Ice & Rain Protection, and Pneumatic Systems including Engine Bleed Air
Drive production and sustainment solutions including design improvements, software improvements, drawing changes, data review, drafting reports, System Integration Lab (SIL) testing and investigation of production and sustainment nonconformances
Leverage data and trend analysis to drive operational improvement
Interact and communicate with various internal engineering organizations, program management, and the customer

Required

Must be a US Citizen
Effective verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact and communicate with various internal engineering organizations, program management, and the customer
Experience as an Environmental Control Systems (ECS) engineer on AMMM line of business platforms, including C-130 and C-5
Troubleshooting, production and sustainment support, and operational improvement of aircraft Air Conditioning, Ice & Rain Protection, and Pneumatic Systems including Engine Bleed Air
Drive production and sustainment solutions including design improvements, software improvements, drawing changes, data review, drafting reports, System Integration Lab (SIL) testing and investigation of production and sustainment nonconformances
Familiar with leveraging data and trend analysis to drive operational improvement

Preferred

Experience preparing Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs), Development Specifications, and Source/Specification Control Drawings
Experience with aircraft system root-cause corrective action (RCCA) activity
Experience with vendor management and providing technical oversight of supplier components
Experience with large transport aircraft Environmental Control Systems
Experience providing Engineering customer interface, meeting support, technical discussions with USG personnel
Control Account Manager (CAM)/Earned Value Management (EVMS) experience
