Responsibilities
The attorney in this role will focus on a range of business immigration matters, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing
Review documents on immigration matters to flag potential issues and ensure files are complete
Identify materials relevant to specific cases and assist in the preparation and filing of various nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions (p. 1)
Assist with cases across core corporate categories, including but not limited to H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1 visas, PERM labor certifications, and EB-1, EB-2, EB-3 I-140/I-485 petitions
Manage a high-volume caseload efficiently while maintaining precision and compliance with government regulations and internal protocols
Communicate effectively with clients regarding case processing and procedural issues, providing expert legal counsel on immigration laws and procedures
Conduct thorough legal research and draft complex legal briefs as needed for various case types
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active admission to a U.S. state bar, in good standing, is required
A minimum of 2+ years of dedicated business immigration experience is mandatory
Exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively with competing demands are essential
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clear and concise communication with both internal teams and clients
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a remote setting
Preferred
Experience in a law firm setting or with similar high-volume environments is strongly preferred
