Responsibilities
You are a high performer with 3-5 years of significant experience in mergers & acquisitions, private equity and other strategic transactions
You have experience in a broad-based federal transactional tax practice, including handling matters such as the following: domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, buyouts, joint ventures, and strategic alliances; private equity and hedge funds; real estate and REIT taxation; complex capital markets transactions, including structured notes; bankruptcy and workouts; structured finance and securitization; lending and project finance; start-up and early-stage companies
You are experienced in managing components of transactions independently
You have a strong analytical, drafting and communication skills
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of significant experience in mergers & acquisitions, private equity and other strategic transactions
Experience in a broad-based federal transactional tax practice, including handling matters such as domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, buyouts, joint ventures, and strategic alliances; private equity and hedge funds
Experience in real estate and REIT taxation
Experience in complex capital markets transactions, including structured notes
Experience in bankruptcy and workouts
Experience in structured finance and securitization
Experience in lending and project finance
Experience with start-up and early-stage companies
Experienced in managing components of transactions independently
Strong analytical, drafting and communication skills
Active member of the New York Bar or California Bar
