Responsibilities

Working with a collaborative team of FPGA engineers designing functionality for next-generation electronic products
Owning specific functional blocks within a project’s FPGA architecture
Running verification of your FPGA design through simulation and completing verification on real hardware
Collaborating with other engineering disciplines to test and debug designs within a product (such as software and adjacent hardware teams)
Applying FPGA knowledge and skills to represent your discipline among a collaborative design team and helping your team weigh tradeoffs and solve problems
Continuing to grow in your discipline and learn new skills as necessary to make your team successful

Required

Working towards a BS or MS in EE/ECE
Experience with Verilog or VHDL
Ability to design, verify, and debug synchronous and asynchronous digital circuits
Understanding of circuit theory, transmission line theory, and high-speed signal fundamentals
Good analytical problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and tackle challenging tasks
Ability to function effectively in a team environment
Ability to quickly learn new technologies

Preferred

Working towards an MS in EE/ECE or have applicable experience and education
Experience designing, verifying and debugging analog and digital circuits
Printed circuit board design experience including experience with high-speed signal integrity
Familiarity with FPGA architecture and synthesis tools
Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, etc
