Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy applications using PowerApps, Power BI, and Power Automate
Write, maintain, and enhance .NET code (C#, ASP.Net MVC, Entity Framework)
Develop PowerShell scripts for automation, system administration, and workflow efficiency
Customize SharePoint lists and develop model-driven PowerApps solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across M365 services and applications
Collaborate with IRS SMEs and project teams to ensure solutions meet IRS-specific compliance, security, and operational requirements
Participate in code reviews, documentation, and process improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years of software development experience, with focus on Microsoft 365 and Power Platform in large enterprise or federal environments
Experience supporting federal government clients or high-compliance environments; IRS experience preferred
Strong proficiency in .NET development, including C#, ASP.Net MVC, Entity Framework
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Experience with SharePoint Administration and Power Platform integration
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to work in a remote, compliance-focused federal environment
Must have or be able to obtain a Public Trust (MBI) clearance
Must complete all IRS-required security, privacy, and compliance training
Must adhere to federal cybersecurity and organizational protocols
Preferred
Experience with automation, workflow optimization, and process improvement in M365 environments
Microsoft certifications such as: Microsoft 365 Developer Associate, Power Platform Developer or Functional Consultant certifications
Experience working with distributed teams in a remote environment
Familiarity with federal frameworks such as NIST, FISMA, and Zero Trust
