Email Marketing Copywriter at Marketing Agency (US-based/remote)
Paired is an email marketing agency that partners with rapidly growing DTC brands. They are seeking an elite Copywriter to create compelling email copy that enhances brand storytelling and drives revenue through effective direct-response strategies.

Responsibilities
Write copy for daily campaigns (newsletters, product launches, sales, and educational content) for multiple client accounts
Draft and optimize copy for core automated flows, specifically Welcome Series, Abandoned Cart/Checkout, Browse Abandonment, Win-back, and Post Purchase
Maintain distinct brand voices for different clients. You must be able to shift from professional/clinical tones to casual/conversational tones depending on the account
Collaborative with Account Managers to create A/B tests for subject lines, preview text, and CTA buttons to improve Open Rates and Click-Through Rates
Write copy that fits within visual constraints. You should understand how copy layout affects design and mobile responsiveness
Qualification
Required
2+ years of copywriting experience, preferably within an agency or for an e-commerce brand
You understand the metrics that matter (Open Rate, CTR, Revenue per Recipient) and write with the goal of improving them
Strong editing and proofreading skills are essential. You will be the final set of eyes on the text before it is staged for design
Ability to manage deadlines for multiple clients simultaneously without missing deliverables
Preferred
Experience writing for SMS marketing (Attentive, Postscript, or Klaviyo SMS)
Basic understanding of consumer psychology and sales triggers
Portfolio demonstrating successful email campaigns (screenshots or live links preferred over raw text docs)
