Responsibilities
Conduct outbound calls, emails, and social outreach to identify and engage potential business sellers or partners
Quality leads based on predefined criteria and schedule discovery meetings for senior sales or acquisition teams
Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and lead status in CRM systems
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to refine messaging and improve lead generation strategies
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity
Meet or exceed monthly KPIs related to outreach volume, lead conversion, and pipeline growth
Qualification
Required
1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or lead generation (preferably B2B)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
Comfortable making cold calls and handling objections with professionalism
Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and outreach platforms
Self-starter with a proactive attitude and a desire to learn and grow
Preferred
Experience in mergers & acquisitions, investment banking, or business brokerage is a plus
Understanding business valuation and seller motivations
Ability to tailor messaging to different industries and business sizes
