Loan Fulfillment E Channel Specialist

Responsibilities
Assist members in completing online loan applications promptly, ensuring all required information is accurate and complete while achieving departmental and company targets
Manage multiple loan files, collect and record customer information, and ensure timely processing of loans
Provide guidance on loan products, terms, and conditions, answering any questions members may have
Assist members with navigating digital tools and resources to simplify the loan process
Maintain frequent communication with members, providing updates on application status and any additional requirements
Ensure a high level of member satisfaction through excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Build trust with members by embodying and demonstrating the organization's philosophy, core values, and purpose
Act as a liaison between borrowers, underwriting and the loan funding teams to ensure a seamless lending experience
Maintain ongoing communication with internal staff throughout the entire loan process
Assist with other duties that support the department and reduce overall risk to the credit union
Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of credit union loan products, policies, procedures, standards, and applicable state and federal regulations
Stay up-to-date on loan products, rates, and regulatory changes to provide accurate and compliant information
Educate members on applicable ancillary products for their loan type and their benefits, achieving department and company sales goals
Document interactions and assist in improving the online loan application experience based on member feedback
Troubleshoot and resolve member and internal inquiries promptly and accurately, communicating resolutions to affected parties
Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, Regulation Z, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control
Qualification
Required
A minimum of one year up to three years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience
A high school degree or equivalent
Courtesy and tact are essential elements of the job
Must be capable of climbing/descending stairs in emergency situation
Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator
Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary
Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management
Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance
Must be able to perform job functions independently or with limited supervision and work effectively either on own or as part of a team
Must be able to read and carry out various instructions and follow oral instructions
Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence
Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization
Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines/requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace
Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities
Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters
