Responsibilities
Develop high-level AV system concepts that define functionality, user experience, and overall system approach
Create conceptual models and visualizations, including room layouts, AV coverage models, and environmental simulations
Identify major cost drivers early in design and evaluate alternative system paths
Produce narrative-level documents and drawings that communicate system intent and design direction
Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and architects to ensure alignment between concept, scope, and project goals
Qualification
Required
3 plus years of experience in AV system design, engineering support, or related audiovisual project roles
Strong technical understanding of audio, video, control, and networked AV systems
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or Vectorworks for the creation of AV design documents and conceptual layouts
Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams
Preferred
Certifications such as CTS or CTS-D (Certified Technology Specialist-Design) would be an added advantage
