This role involves leading capitalization of assets, owning fixed asset accounting, and contributing to finance transformation projects.

Responsibilities
Lead capitalization of internally developed assets, partnering closely with R&D, Product, Project, and Engineering teams
Own fixed asset accounting for tangible and intangible assets—tracking, reporting, and process improvements
Improve and document balance sheet processes to support audit readiness and scalability
Support tax and GL activity, including sales and income tax documentation and reconciliations (Avalara exposure a plus)
Contribute to cross-functional initiatives and finance transformation projects as a hands-on Senior Accountant
Assist with month-end close and financial reporting responsibilities as needed
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of total accounting experience
Strong technical foundation in financial statements, reconciliations, and fixed asset accounting
Process-improvement mindset, you don't just do the work, you make it better
Preferred
Avalara exposure a plus
