As a Quality & Food Safety Intern, you will support the Quality & Food Safety team by conducting quality checks, documenting procedures, and maintaining food safety program practices.

Responsibilities
Conduct quality checks on finished goods
Documentation of procedures, instructions, and formats
Maintain product quality and food safety program practices, including BRC, HACCP, QA/QC, GPM, sanitation and good hygiene practices
Preparation of products and participation in sensory analysis
Other quality tech duties as required
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university, working toward a bachelor's, master's, or PhD degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology or related field
Knowledge and understanding food & beverage industry requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail oriented and can maintain a high level of accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office required (Word and Excel)
Benefits
Interns whose permanent addresses are more than 35 miles from the work location are eligible for a stipend to offset relocation and housing costs.
