Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and identify root cause of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical malfunctions
Work with site leadership to execute all contractual obligations and activities set forth with the customers daily, which can include any portion of the electrical, mechanical, or balance-of-plant equipment on site
Lead and/or assist with other daily work activities, related to all areas of site operations, as directed by manager, with minimal supervision
Complete and maintain required company and client documentation and records, using computer-based service reporting tools and procedures
Operate a motor vehicle safely and legally per the Pearce Employee Handbook and insurance requirements

Required

3-5+ years troubleshooting and/or maintenance on Wind Turbines
Ability and willingness to read and understand electrical schematic drawings
Ability and willingness to read and interpret technical manuals, procedures, and regulations
Ability and willingness to climb a wind turbine vertically at least 300 feet
Maintain a weight between 120 and 280 pounds, including clothing and boots, for OSHA safety compliance
Lift and move equipment as needed (more than 50 pounds)
Work in an indoor or outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions with blowing pollen, dust, and grasses
Ability to walk up to 3 miles per day on terrain such as gravel, pavement, grass, etc
Complete and maintain required company and client documentation and records, using computer-based service reporting tools and procedures
Operate a motor vehicle safely and legally per the Pearce Employee Handbook and insurance requirements

Preferred

Knowledge of wind turbine mechanics 2-3 years preferred
Inventory control experience preferred
