Junior Signal Processing Engineer

They are seeking a Junior Signal Processing Engineer to support remote sensing programs, focusing on designing, developing, and integrating algorithms into sensor systems.

Responsibilities
Develop, model, and test algorithms in MATLAB, Python, and/or C/C++
Analyze, design, simulate, and implement algorithms in hardware descriptor languages (VHDL, Verilog) based on customer requirements and/or MATLAB models
Analyze results from simulation or real data to identify root causes and trends
Plan and perform analytical and engineering research, design development, participate in testing, and other technical assignments
Qualification
Required
Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related fields and 2 years of relevant experience or MS degree in a related field and relevant experience
Must be eligible to obtain TS/SCI, active Secret preferred but not required
US citizenship required
Experience with tools such as MATLAB, Linux, Python, and languages such as C/C++, Java, etc
VHDL, Verilog HDL coding
Working knowledge of basic signal processing concepts (FFTs, filtering, decimation, interpolation, etc.)
Working knowledge of scientific programming and algorithm development
Experience with image and signal processing
Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently
Adaptability to new challenges with a strong motivation to grow and learn in new areas
Preferred
Working knowledge of computer vision algorithms, parallel programming, and/or sensor physics
Experience with machine learning, deep learning, and/or GPU programming
