Responsibilities

Develop and implement inventory planning strategies to achieve optimal stock levels and reduce excess inventory
Manage procurement processes, including purchase order creation and vendor relationships, ensuring timely delivery and resolution of discrepancies
Oversee demand forecasting and seasonal planning to minimize stockouts and improve sell-through rates
Conduct pricing analysis and margin evaluations, recommending adjustments to enhance financial performance
Lead the team in monitoring and improving in-stock rates through actionable insights
Create dashboards and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure data accuracy and operational transparency
Optimize assortment decisions between in-house inventory and dropship options to enhance product availability
Address receiving, billing, and reconciliation issues with prompt and effective solutions
Guide team development and performance through coaching and leadership
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align inventory strategies with organizational goals

Required

Minimum of 3 years of experience in e-commerce buying, inventory planning, procurement, or similar roles
Proven leadership or supervisory experience in managing teams
Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills, particularly in forecasting and demand planning
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage vendor relationships effectively
Ability to work in a fast-paced, office-based environment with minimal supervision
Strong problem-solving skills to address operational challenges and improve processes

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, though equivalent work experience will be considered
Experience with Power BI and NetSuite is advantageous
