This role involves providing expert consulting services for both new construction and existing buildings, focusing on waterproofing, exterior walls, roofing, and fenestration systems.

Responsibilities
Manage building envelope projects from initial investigation through construction administration
Conduct site inspections and prepare detailed technical reports
Draft proposals with clear scopes of work
Develop contract documents, technical drawings, and specifications
Review enclosure details and specifications for accuracy and constructability
Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline
Minimum of 5 years' experience in building envelope consulting and waterproofing
Strong knowledge of exterior systems and materials, including facades, roofing, and windows
Experience working on both new construction and evaluation of existing structures
Familiarity with ASTM and AAMA standards and field testing procedures
Strong communication and client management skills, with an interest in business development
Ability to compile and deliver high-quality RFQ/RFP responses
Preferred
Professional licensure in engineering or architecture (or in progress) preferred
Experience with WUFI or other modelling tools is a plus
Forensic investigation background or interest preferred
Local market knowledge is an advantage
