Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and execute volunteer programs and events to support community engagement
Assist with annual fundraising campaign initiatives
Develop and implement strategies for donor cultivation and stewardship
Prepare, submit, and manage grant applications, ensuring compliance with requirements and deadlines
Track grants and prepare donor communications
Create dashboards, reports, and presentations for leadership and stakeholders
Build relationships with businesses, nonprofits, government agencies, and community organizations
Organize and manage outreach events to promote organizational initiatives
Develop strategies for partnerships and execute plans to support business goals
Represent the organization on community committees and collaborative efforts
Develop and implement communication strategies to build a positive public image
Create and distribute content across media, digital, and social platforms
Maintain mailing databases for publications and outreach
Serve as the primary contact for public inquiries and community engagement
Coordinate press releases, media coverage, and interviews

Required

Bachelor's degree in communications, business, journalism, marketing, public relations, or related fields
Professional experience in grant management, programming, marketing, or related work
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience in data tracking and reporting
Ability to handle sensitive topics with professionalism
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally for meetings and events

Preferred

Minimum two years in a nonprofit leadership position preferred
