Responsibilities
Plan, design, and analyze water and wastewater infrastructure projects including pipelines, pumping stations, wells, storage tanks, and treatment facilities
Perform hydraulic calculations and develop layouts for water and wastewater structures
Prepare technical reports, correspondence, and biddable documents for treatment plant upgrades and new facilities (including arsenic, radium, and iron removal systems)
Act as a key point of contact and representative to municipalities, utility authorities, and private utility clients
Draft concise, well-structured proposals for new and repeat work
Manage multiple assignments simultaneously while maintaining schedules, budgets, and quality
Support regulatory permitting efforts and coordination with agencies
Mentor junior staff and help guide project teams through meetings with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in water and wastewater engineering or consulting
Strong working knowledge of water and wastewater equipment, systems, and treatment processes
Experience preparing construction documents, specifications, and technical reports
PE Licence or ability to obtain one soon
Experience mentoring or guiding less-experienced engineers
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Preferred
AutoCAD experience is a plus
