Martenson, Hasbrouck & Simon LLP ("MHS") is seeking an experienced full-time Paralegal in their Carlsbad office. The Paralegal position involves assisting a team of attorneys and staff with labor and employment defense and business litigation work.

Required

Prior legal experience is necessary

Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate

High-quality level of customer service, professionalism, and interpersonal skills (oral and written)

Proficient in Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, and Excel

Knowledge of Adobe (or similar) software and ability to create, edit, modify, redact, and protect pdf files

Experience with document management software

Must be self-motivated and proactive

Attention to detail

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment

Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills

Preferred

employment law background is a plus

NetDocuments knowledge is a plus
