Responsibilities
Oversee bridge construction activities including deck pours, beam setting, falsework, cofferdams, pile driving, and sub/superstructure work
Direct and coordinate field crews, equipment, and subcontractors with a focus on safe, high-quality execution
Develop and manage short-term and long-term construction schedules
Monitor daily progress, resource allocation, and cost controls
Ensure strict compliance with DOT specs, project plans, and OSHA regulations
Lead daily safety briefings, maintain field reports, and support project meetings
Qualification
Required
5+ years of field leadership on bridge or heavy civil projects (DOT preferred)
Strong knowledge of bridge-building methods, materials, and structural elements
Proficiency with tools like HCSS HeavyJob, MS Project, and daily reporting software
Solid communicator with a hands-on leadership style
Preferred
Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering is a plus
