Responsibilities

Perform field service, repair, calibration, and preventive maintenance on GE PET/CT and CT systems, including DVCT, VCT, and Optima 660 models
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues while maintaining clear communication with customers and service leadership
Conduct scheduled system testing, adjustments, and performance verification to ensure compliance with specifications
Document all service activities accurately and submit timely reports in accordance with company standards
Manage company tools, parts, and resources efficiently
Stay current on imaging technology advancements and equipment functionality

Qualification

Required

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience servicing diagnostic imaging equipment
Must reside near a major airport in the New York or New Jersey area; willingness to travel 60–70% of the time
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical maintenance and installations in clinical settings

Preferred

OEM experience with GE PET/CT and CT systems strongly preferred
Background as a Technical Support Specialist or Senior Field Engineer preferred
