Responsibilities

Review documentation and follow AMA, Government Regulations, CCI, and ICD-10 CM guidelines to accurately select codes for billing in IDX
Send provider feedback on code selections
Bring coding trends and education opportunities to management
Accurately code all faculty practice services for billing
Upon completion of coding, charges are to be entered into the IDX billing system
Enter all coded charges for billing into IDX

Qualification

ICD-10-CM codingCCS certificationCPC certificationIDX billing systemClinical documentation reviewCoding education

Required

CCS, CCS-P, CPC or CPC-A certification/licensure
1 to 3 years of experience

Preferred

Associate's Degree preferred
