The role involves providing legal secretarial and administrative support to attorneys, preparing documentation, managing client information, and assisting in real estate transactions while maintaining organized files.

Responsibilities
Providing the requisite legal secretarial and administrative support/clerical needs of assigned attorneys
Preparing letters, memos, and other documentation, as required
Entering client information into the system to run conflict checks for new clients, as well as preparation of supporting documentation such as engagement letters
Preparing and filing pleadings with the appropriate court system and docketing dates into a central docketing system, as needed
Making travel arrangements and preparing expense reimbursement documentation
Answering the phones of assigned attorneys
Entering attorney time
Assist attorneys in drafting and finalizing transaction documents and closing binders
Liaise with clients, lenders, title companies and other parties involved to ensure timely closings
Maintain organized and accessible transactional files for future reference
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 3-5 years of Real Estate experience
Ability to work in a team environment
Excellent computer skills utilizing all aspects of Office 365
Excellent attention to detail with superb proofreading skills
Ability to prioritize and manage a high-volume and diverse workload
Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time with exceptional organizational skills
Ability to absorb information quickly and adapt to change
Sound judgment and business acumen when interacting with clients, potential clients, guests, coworkers, and others
Preferred
Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced legal practice
Certified Legal Secretary designation
