Responsibilities

Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the home office, global markets, and key suppliers in the meetings space

Expanding the program to additional markets through the implementation of a global Strategic Meetings Management Program

Staying current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, and integrating them into McDonald’s environment where applicable

Developing strategies to continuously optimize program performance, focusing on improvements in controls, cost, efficiency, service, and overall experience

Required

Bachelor's degree and 8-10+ years of experience in a relevant field (communications, meetings and events, hospitality, procurement)

Experience leading strategic meetings management programs, global or cross-market experience ideal

Exceptional verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, customer service, and teamwork skills

Proven track record in supplier management

Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask and perform effectively under pressure

Ability to communicate complex issues clearly to all levels of the organization

Collaborative leadership skills with experience leading cross-functional teams and provider groups

Strong business and financial acumen

Ability to lead, influence, and drive results

Experience in process improvement and protocol development

Proficiency in reporting and data analysis

Ability to identify and manage risks and issues

Demonstrated success in leveraging interpersonal skills to influence behavior and navigate complex team environments

Active engagement across departments and within the organization
