As a SWC D5LE2 Product Owner - Umbilical Lead (Advanced Sys Engr) in the systems engineering department for SWC Fire Control, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for development of Strategic Weapons Systems Capabilities under the nuclear triad

Required

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field

Requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience

Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time but preferred at time of hire

Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required

Clear understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards

Product Owner experience leveraging Agile and JIRA

Clear understanding of requirements management and system modeling tools

Creative thinker with ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity

Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success

Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others

Develop and establish model architecture for a cutting-edge program

Utilize advanced tools like Cameo or MagicDraw

Apply your deep systems engineering knowledge

Engage in critical thinking to solve complex problems

Work within the structured Systems V framework

Proven experience with Cameo or MagicDraw

Extensive background in systems engineering

Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Strong understanding of the Systems V process

Requires modeling experience

Preferred

Agile experience preferred

Modeling experience using Cameo/MagicDraw

Integration of legacy and newly developed systems

Software process

Preferably, knowledge in Fire Control or SP23 domain
