Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. This role is critical in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting strategic decision-making through accurate reporting and analysis.

Staffing & Recruiting

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and reconciliations
Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Coordinate and support external audits and tax filings
Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting regulations and company policies
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support business decisions
Monitor accounts payable/receivable and cash flow management
Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to provide financial insights

Qualification

Required

5+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on financial reporting and compliance
In-depth knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

CPA certification preferred but not required
