Responsibilities
The Software Developer will design, develop, and deploy AI-driven automation solutions, primarily using C++, within a HWIL simulation environment. This includes:
Perform code verification, review, and analysis for frameworks and supporting M&S software
Lead and execute prototype development to validate new features and technologies
Conduct baseline qualification testing for OS, network, and hardware updates prior to enterprise rollout
Design and implement containerized solutions for M&S and Tactical applications and supporting infrastructure
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software into MDA’s Azure cloud ecosystem
Leverage and maintain a high-side AI server cluster to support development, testing, and analysis efforts
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (BS) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university
Active Secret Clearance
0-3 years of experience with containers (Docker/Podman) and container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift, K3s, etc.)
Proven ability to work across development, testing, and infrastructure domains
Strong knowledge of software verification, testing practices, and modern DevSecOps environments
Preferred
Experience with Azure Cloud or other enterprise cloud environments
Active Top Secret Clearance
Familiarity with high-side or secure network environments
Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) for development or analysis workflows
Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps tools
