Responsibilities
Serve as the expert for Environmental Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHS&S) within Abrasives in North America
Develop EHS&S strategy and culture through collaboration with business stakeholders and employees across 12 locations
Interpret regulations and apply them to specific site situations, ensuring compliance while meeting operational needs
Stay informed about regulatory developments to advise management and minimize impacts
Develop the competency roadmap for EHS&S professionals and enhance overall capabilities
Coordinate with regional teams to align support and strategy with the group’s objectives in EHS&S
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in an Environmental/Industrial Hygiene discipline, Science, or Engineering
Master of Science degree in a related field
10+ years of experience within a Regulatory Environment
10+ years of first-hand experience in corporate EHS management
7+ years leading teams (direct or indirect) comprised of diverse disciplines
7+ years of knowledge/experience in product stewardship & environmental, health & safety practices
5+ years of experience managing programs related to sustainability
Preferred
Professional certifications in EHS
