Lead research conducted within the AU Southereastern Cooperative Fish Genetics Project
This person shall be an expert in fish taxonomy, systematics, phylogenomics, genomics, and bioinformatics approaches
Taxonomically identify fish using morphology, conduct relevant genomic and bioinformatic analyses, publish results in peer-reviewed journals, attend and present at relevant scientific meetings, write grants that support applied research in fish health related to fisheries management and the aquaculture industry
Qualification
Required
PhD in Biology
Preferred
Publications in fish genomics/phylogenomics
Experience in fisheries management
Fisheries biology experience
Interest in parasites and diseases of aquatic organisms
