Responsibilities

Create software tests and automate test cases for enterprise applications

Translate user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, and requirements into executable test scenarios

Perform application testing, validate bugs, and isolate issues

Write and initiate tests and analyze and report test results in the ticketing system

Perform configuration management, change management, and release management

Evaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools and strategies

Design, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met

Develop, maintain, and upgrade automated test scripts and architectures

Produce clear test documentation (test plans, test results, scripts, traceability matrices)

Document defects and test outcomes in a way that any developer or tester can follow

Analyze test cases and provide regular progress reports

Identify and document problems and issues, providing guidance on root-cause and remediation

Support the presentation and formal review of test results

Ensure applications meet security and compliance requirements
