Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level SCADA systems supporting industrial automation processes
Work heavily with AVEVA/Wonderware System Platform and InTouch
Integrate SCADA platforms with industrial data historians such as OSI PI and AVEVA/Wonderware Historian
Configure, install, and troubleshoot SCADA software and integrations with PLCs and field devices
Develop custom functionality using JavaScript, VBScript, Python, or C#
Support system testing, commissioning, upgrades, and enhancements with minimal disruption to operations
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and client stakeholders to translate requirements into working solutions
Provide technical support and guidance to end users as needed
Stay current with evolving SCADA and industrial automation technologies
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on experience designing and supporting SCADA systems
Proven background with AVEVA/Wonderware products, especially System Platform and InTouch
Experience integrating SCADA systems with industrial historians (OSI PI, AVEVA, Wonderware)
Solid understanding of industrial communication protocols such as OPC UA/DA, Modbus, DNP3, and TCP/IP
Working knowledge of industrial networking concepts and architectures
Ability to independently troubleshoot, problem-solve, and deliver in live production environments
Comfortable working remotely and collaborating with distributed teams
Willingness to travel up to 25% in the future for customer meetings or deployments
Preferred
Experience across multiple industrial domains (energy, utilities, manufacturing, mining)
Exposure to SCADA modernization or system upgrade initiatives
Background in predictive analytics or advanced historian usage
