Responsibilities
Prospect and generate leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, and marketing strategies
Recommend appropriate coverage options from a portfolio of commercial insurance products (e.g., general liability, workers comp, commercial auto, property, BOP)
Prepare quotes, present proposals, and close sales
Maintain client relationships through regular follow-up and policy reviews
Stay current on industry trends, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory changes
Collaborate with underwriters and support staff to ensure accurate policy issuance and service
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in commercial insurance sales or related field preferred
Current Property & Casualty insurance license (or willingness to obtain within 15 days)
Strong knowledge of commercial insurance lines
Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
Goal-oriented mindset with strong organizational and time management abilities
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team environment
