Responsibilities

Partner with the Community Service team to deliver personalized service to employees and visitors at corporate offices
Provide exceptional customer service and assist with facilities-related needs
Contribute to the daily management of corporate office operations, including business activities, workplace appearance, meeting and event support, office wayfinding, reception services, visitor refreshments, dining coordination, office tours, activity reservations, and handling gift and package orders
Greet employees and guests upon arrival, assist with workspace bookings, and provide tours and guidance to meeting locations
Monitor the appearance and readiness of lobbies, cafés, meeting rooms, and common areas
Engage with employees and guests to ensure a positive experience, resolve issues, request housekeeping services as needed, and perform spot checks on equipment
Report concerns to Community Service management
Assist with assigned meetings and events
Coordinate with MIS to ensure technology is tested and functioning daily
Ensure meeting rooms are properly set up and stocked with necessary supplies
Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of Corporate Services and Facilities operations

Required

Currently enrolled full-time at an accredited four-year university pursuing a degree, bachelor's or higher, in Hospitality, Business Administration or related field, OR
Recent graduate (within 12 months prior to internship start date) with a degree, bachelor's or higher, in Hospitality, Business Administration or related field
Warm, engaging demeanor with the ability to assess situations thoughtfully and respond with empathy and professionalism
Exceptional attention to detail paired with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Positive attitude and a proactive approach to resolving challenges with urgency and care
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a high degree of accuracy and precision
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated initiative, organizational capabilities, and the ability to perform well under pressure
Collaborative mindset with a proven ability to work effectively in team environments
Ability to understand, apply and communicate verbal and written work and safety-related instructions, procedures, job assignments and applicable safety standards in English
Must be able to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet time-sensitive deadlines
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, talk, hear, and see
Occasionally may be required to lift moderately heavy objects up to thirty (30) pounds during the workday
Freeport-McMoRan promotes a drug/alcohol free work environment through the use of mandatory pre-employment drug testing and on-going random drug testing as per applicable state laws

Preferred

Minimum of one (1) year of front desk, concierge, customer service or other hospitality experience
Graduated or graduating in December 2025
