Responsibilities
Maintain a high-volume pipeline while ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance
Review and prepare disclosures and other loan documents
Analyze borrower documentation including income, credit, and assets
Collaborate with loan officers and borrowers to clear conditions and meet deadlines
Manage third-party service orders including appraisals, title work, and VOEs
Regularly communicate with stakeholders to provide updates and resolve delays
Use a variety of LOS/POS platforms and leverage modern tools to streamline processes
Help refine processes and workflows in a dynamic, startup environment
Qualification
Required
Minimum 8 years of experience as a mortgage loan processor
At least 2 years working specifically with independent mortgage brokers (not in lender-retail or correspondent setups)
Deep familiarity with conventional (FNMA/FHLMC), FHA, VA, and Jumbo loan products
Proven ability to calculate income and review documents for pre-qualification accuracy
Comfortable working with a wide range of wholesale lenders (e.g. UWM, PennyMac, Rocket, etc.)
Able to independently manage 25+ active files with minimal supervision
Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal
Highly organized, proactive, and takes full ownership of your work
Preferred
Hands-on experience with broker LOS platforms (Arive and LendingPad strongly preferred)
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required
