Responsibilities

Manage the University’s Anonymous Reporting Hotline, including prompt review and triage of incoming reports, outreach and follow up with university officials, oversight of case management, communications with reporters, maintaining system records, maintenance of system records, production of reports, and updates to supporting materials such as standard operating procedures, templates and contact lists
Provide support to the Associate Director, Risk and Compliance Services, by assisting with regulatory research, participating in meetings, and assisting with compliance assessments
Support the IRM program, including assisting the Institutional Risk & Compliance Officer with the university-wide risk assessment process
Stay abreast of current events, applicable laws, regulations, and trends in the higher education risk and compliance landscape to support the University’s compliance efforts
Perform other related duties as required

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
7+ years' experience in a compliance or legal role and/ or demonstrated experience in hotline operations or conducting investigations in a compliance, HR, or related setting

Preferred

Experience in a University or healthcare setting
Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) or Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) is preferred but not required
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
Strong judgment and discretion handling sensitive and confidential information
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to coordinate with a broad range of university officials and maintain timely follow up
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and data analytics tools
Familiarity with hotline systems, case management platforms, or investigative processes
Experience with Navex's EthicsPoint hotline software a plus
